Psychological Flexibility: Getting Unstuck and Doing What Matters
Workshop with Dr Naomi Scott and Dr Christopher Whiteley
Saturday May 18th 2pm – 5pm
Psychological flexibility is at the heart of good mental health.
It enables us to be more adaptive in the face of life stressors and our own challenging emotions. It invites us to develop a willingness to stop struggling against the inevitable and helps us to stay open instead of shutting down or avoiding discomfort – habits that keep us stuck in an ongoing pattern of unhelpful behavior that hinders our access to a meaningful life.
In this workshop we will focus on defining values, identifying obstacles to valued action and practising mindfulness and acceptance skills in the service of enhancing personally valued life goals and actions.
Refreshments will be provided.
The cost of the workshop is £95 Early Bird rate before 2/4/19.
From 18/4/19 £115.
